While the Next Gen Swing Dance Club doesn't have a permanent physical dance location itself, we do hold both our monthly dances and our annual convention in consistent locations.

The annual "Boogie by the Bay" dance convention is held at the Hyatt Hotel in Burlingame.

Our monthly dances are always the first Saturday of every month with two exceptions: October -- the month of our dance convention and November -- to avoid conflicts with Michelle's Mountain Magic Event in Tahoe, which is the first weekend in November each year. NextGen dances are always held at the Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville, California. Emeryville is just on the East Bay side of the Bay Bridge between Oakland and Berkeley.

From San Francisco:
Take 80 East over the Bay Bridge to the Powell St. exit.
Right off the exit onto Powell.
Left onto Christie Avenue.
Allegro Ballroom is on your left.

From Richmond/Sacramento:
Take 80 West to the Powell St./Emeryville exit.
Turn left off the exit onto Frontage Road.
Left on Powell St. Left on Christie Ave.

From San Rafael/Marin:
Take 101 to 580 East.
Follow Richmond/Sacramento directions.

From Concord/Walnut Creek:
Take Hwy 24 heading towards Oakland/Lafayette to 580 West.
Follow 580 to 80 East and exit Powell St./Emeryville.
Right on Powell, left on Christie.
Allegro Ballroom is on your left.

From San Jose:
Take 880 North to 980 to 580 West.
Transition onto the 80 East exit and take Powell St./Emeryville exit.
Right on Powell, left on Christie Ave.
