The Next Generation Swing Dance Club (the "Club") has adopted a set of Privacy Principles and has implemented those Principles in this Privacy Policy (the "Policy"), which describes how we collect, use, and share personally identifiable information (information that can be used to identify you, such as your full name, email address, mailing address, or telephone number) ("PI") we obtain from and about individuals located in the U.S.
This Policy applies to all the Club's Sites and services owned or provided by the Club (collectively "Club Sites"). New Club Sites, domain names, or services that we add to the Club Sites will be subject to this Policy.
The Club Sites are general audience web sites, and Next Generation Swing Dance Club does not knowingly collect PI from children under 13 years of age.
From time to time we may revise this Policy to reflect industry initiatives or changes in the law, our information collection and use practices, or features of the Club Sites, or technology. If we make revisions that change the way we collect or use your PI, those changes will be posted in this Policy and the update date will be noted at the beginning of this Policy. Therefore, you should review it periodically so that you are up to date on our most current policies and practices. If we materially change our practices regarding use of your PI, your PI will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice of, and have not objected to, the change.
General
The Next Generation Swing Dance Club collects PI in order to create or
enhance our relationship with you. When we collect PI from you it is
because you are voluntarily submitting the information to use in order
for you to participate in certain activites including (i) registration
for certain online services; and (ii) subscription registration. If the
Club obtains PI from a third party, such as a business partner, our use
of that information is governed by this Policy.
We may contact you regarding changes to this Policy, our Use Agreement
or other terms of use, to confirm your registration, or for any other
business reason related to your use of the Club Sites.
Provided you have given us consent, the Club may also share your PI
with business partners that are not affiliated with the Club, but would
like to send you information about their products and services. In the
event that you terminate your relationship with us, the Club will
continue to adhere to the policies and practices described in this
Policy.
The Club does not guarantee or warrant the Club Sites will be
uninterrupted, without delay, error-free, omission-free, or free of
viruses. Therefore, the information is provided "as is" without
warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy,
timeliness and completeness. In no event shall the Club, its
executives, delivery management, delivery staff, or employees be liable
for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive,
consequential or other damages whatsoever (including, but not limited
to, liability for loss of use, data or profits), without regard to the
form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence
or other tortuous actions, arising out of or in connection with the
Club, any content on or accessed by use of the Club Sites, or any
copying, display or other use hereof.
Content on the Club Sites is copyrighted; any unauthorized use of any
materials on the Club Sites may violate copyright, trademark and other
laws. Should a user or customer download the materials on the Club
Sites for personal or non-commercial use, the user or customer must
retain all copyright, trademark or other similar notices contained in
the original materials on any copies of the material. Materials on the
Club Sites may not be modified, reproduced or publicly displayed,
performed or distributed or used for any public or commercial purposes.
Third party links may be provided as a convenience to our users. The
Club does not control and is not responsible for any of these web sites
or their content. The Club is not responsible for the privacy practices
or the content of these other web sites. We encourage you to review the
privacy policies posted on these third-party web sites. The Club is
obligated to protect its reputation and trademarks and The Club
reserves the right to request removal of any link to the Club Sites.
Collection of Information
When you visit our Club Sites, we collect, retain and use non-public
personal information about our potential, current and former users and
customers as follows:
Personal information that you knowingly supply to us.
When you sign up for our products and services, the Club will collect
personal information that will help us to identify you, authenticate
you, and provide you with better service. Examples of such personal
information are: user or customer name, address, telephone number,
email address, and customer number. We will not sell, lease, disclose
or trade your PI to any third party, except, there may be instances
when The Club may disclose PI without providing you with a choice in
order to protect the legal rights of The Club, their employees, agents
and contractors, to protect the safety and security of visitors to the
Club Sites, to investigate, prevent or protect against suspected fraud,
illegal or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights
or defend against legal claims. In addition, if the Club sells all or
part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of assets or is
otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, The Club may
transfer your PI to a third party as part of that transaction. Because
of the uncertain regulatory environment associated with privacy issues,
we may also be forced to disclose PI to the government.
Protection of Information
The protection of PI is of utmost importance to us. The Club employees,
agents, and contractors are required to have a legitimate business
reason to obtain access to your PI. The Club may share your PI with
outside contractors or agents who help us manage our information
activities but they must have agreed only to use your PI to provide The
Club with a specific service and not for any other reason. It is
possible, however, that electronic communications may be accessed by
unauthorized third parties when communicated between you and The Club
or any other electronic means.
The Club uses reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and
physical measures to safeguard PI in its possession against loss, theft
and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. Passwords and other
sensitive information stored by The Club are encrypted in transit.
Notwithstanding these security measures, please be aware that when you
submit PI to the Club Sites over the Internet, the information may
travel over many systems that are not under the Club's control and may
not be secure.
If a password is used to help protect your PI, it is your
responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this
information with anyone. Anyone who has access to your password will
have access to your PI.
You may cancel a subscription of service or update your PI by accessing
the subscription or profile page on the Club's web site:
www.nextgenswingdance.com and following the instructions on that page.
