The purpose of Club Night Out (CNO) is to promote West Coast Swing dancing around the Bay Area by encouraging Club members to try different venues, support new dance spots, and celebrate special dance events. Periodically, usually monthly, the CNO coordinator or Board of Directors picks a different place to meet for Club Night Out.

Club Night Out is generally held at a ballroom or other West CoastSwing dance venue and it provides a good opportunity to promote ourClub and potentially get new members.

CNO provides an opportunity for dancers to try a new place and berelatively assured of seeing plenty of familiar faces as well as newones.

The Club Night Out coordinator does not have to be on the Board ofDirectors. However, the board must approve CNO selections. If the CNOcoordinator is not a board member, board approval can be obtainedeither by attending a board meeting or by having another board memberpresent the information for approval.
