Next Gen Dance

Please join The Next Generation Swing Dance Club at the Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville for our monthly club dance on Saturday, February 4th, from 6 PM until Midnight. We look forward to seeing you there. Download the February 2012 Dance Flyer.
Our DJ is Mike Pyle. The DJ mix is primarily West Coast Swing, but also contains a few songs for other social and swing dances. Our beginning lesson is being offered by Michelle Kinkaid from 7 - 8 PM in the back room. The contest will be the " Luck of the Draw" Prelim Round V. Contest sign-up cut-off time is 8:15 PM.
$7 member / $12 non-member / $5 student Entrance fee includes the lesson and dance. These prices are in effect until 9 PM when the Allegro Ballroom admission prices take effect.
REMINDER: We are now checking membership cards at the door. We want to make dances more secure and ensure that current members receive the dance discount membership benefit. So make sure to bring your card with you to speed up the process at the register!
The address of the Allegro Ballroom is 5855 Christie Avenue, Emeryville, and is conveniently located off of I-80 next to the Powell Street exit (just past the IKEA and Trader Joe's). Coming from I-80, take the Powell Street exit headed East, turn left on Christie Avenue just past the Denny's, and turn left into the parking lot at the last entrance in front of the strip of buildings. The Allegro is to the back of the strip.

Generation Swing Dance Cub (TNGSDC) will host a one-day workshop event featuring national champions John Lindo and Jessica Cox and local stars Eric Jacobson and Yenni Setiawan.
These talented champions will be teaching three workshops at the Allegro Ballroom, 5855 Christie Ave, Emeryville.
